So anyway... as well as being a massage therapist, I kind of see my place in the world as being the kind of person who makes the mistakes, so you don't have to, or in this case, come across an absolute golden nugget, and feel the need to pass it on!

Contraindication is a long word with a simple meaning: a reason you shouldn’t receive a particular treatment, such as a massage. There are local contraindications—things like a small wound—that shouldn’t be massaged directly, but that don’t mean you can’t still get a perfectly good massage on other parts of your body. Then there are general contraindications, or situations in which you shouldn’t get a massage at all.

I'm writing this primarily for ME as I am having flashbacks to last Christmas and New Year when my sleep pattern basically went to the dogs, and I developed a habit of sleeping till 11am.

Me having an argument with my sleep pattern...
I've been giving this a lot of thought over the last few months. My sleep pattern. It's better than it was, but still not great. I've totally nailed going to bed earlier and not watching TV so late, but sometimes my sleep is so broken, I still feel shattered when my alarm goes off, so guess what? I hit the snooze button.
