What Are You Constantly Proving to Yourself?

Ooh this is a good one.  I'll put my hand up and say that yes, once upon a time I was very very good at proving to myself that I was not quite making the grade.  Moaning about things that I was not happy about, and having absolutely no motivation to change them.  I was almost feeding myself with negativity and living off it!  When I say 'used to', I mean it.  I have much more of a balanced life, and get things done, when I have decided what I want.

How many time a day do you say any of the following

'I'm not fit enough'

'I've tried dieting, it doesn't work'

'I have bad posture'

'I'm no good at (insert what it is here)'

'I have no time to (insert what it is here)'

I have very very good new for you.  You are not a lost cause.  All those things you think you can't change... you can do it.  You've got this!  You have totally got this.

Here's what to do.  Make a list of what you want to do/achieve, write it down, have it somewhere really clearly written, my kitchen works for me, read it at least 3 times a day, and do it!

A good friend of mine made the point that if you are not feeling good about yourself... is that honestly the way you would choose to feel?  What would you choose for yourself instead?

Every day I would say that I feel 80% epic.  I'm happy with that.  The things that don't make me feel so epic are, trying to control external circumstances when I seriously have no control over them at all, yup, you heard it here first.  Give it up! Another thing that doesn't make me feel so good is eating bread.  Food. Hangover.  However, I have not guilt whosoever about eating peanut butter.  Ding dong.

You are amazing.  Yes you.  You are unique.  Whatever you have as a goal is totally do-able.  I believe in you.

Go be with your tribe!
