Detoxing!  Yup, I have decided that I need to get my sugar cravings in line.  I am starting to think that I am invincible around Jaffa Cakes, Hob Nobs, and any kind of chocolate.

I exercise really well but I have got a very sweet tooth and not alot of willpower.  Sigh.  My lifestyle change has been prompted by my stomach reminding me how badly I am treating my body, and the terrible stomach pains I had over the weekend.

So what am I doing about it?  Well, my new favourite website is Goop.com and I found a 7 day Detox menu exerpt from a book called ‘Clean’ by Alejandro Junger.  Google it!  For breakfast today I made myself a Blueberry and Rice milk shake with a scoop of supergreens powder, and for lunch I pulsed some carrot, fresh ginger, a shallot and roasted sesame seed oil, and had this over a bed of fresh spinach with a whole avocado.  I shall report back on how I am feeling at the end of the week, but my big no no’s are bread and cakes.  I have a gluten intolerance and I know this so now is the time to stop messing about with my insides and give it the dose of vitamins and fresh vegetables it needs.
