Pregnancy Massage (The one all Mums to be need)

Pregnancy Massage can offer a wide range of benefits and help you adjust to the dramatic changes you are experiencing as you prepare for childbirth.  It involves a combination of techniques such as Swedish, Acupressure, Deep Tissue and Indian Head Massage, Shiatsu and Lymphatic Drainage.

Massage during a healthy pregnancy is perfectly safe and more and more women are looking to holistic therapies to help them cope with the changes that their body is going through.  It is a wonderful relaxing experience and soothes away any stress and pain that hip, leg or back muscles may be experiencing as the pregnancy progresses.  Feedback that I’ve had from clients who have had a pregnancy massage from me, is that the clients sleep patterns improved, feelings of calmness, and a number of clients have fallen asleep during the treatment.  Very relaxed!

What Position will I be lying in?

Pregnancy Massage is usually undertaken with in a side-lying or semi-reclined position supported by pillows.  You will be supported by specially positioned pillows and covered with a sheet, and of course the room will be the perfect temperature.
